This is not an exhaustive list, but a selection of recent incidents that illustrate how abortion and reproductive rights information, civil rights issues, and more are being suppressed around the world.
Over the past year, Australia has seen a growing wave of account suspensions, removals, and restrictions affecting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, artists, creators, community organizations, venues, and public-health groups.

Neowarras is a Berlin-based queer electronic music collective led by Spanish-Lebanese promoter Yassy Elkak. Through music, art, and nightlife, they create inclusive spaces for underrepresented communities, building a strong cultural presence both online and offline.
On 27 March 2026, Instagram and Facebook permanently disabled the accounts of internationally recognized multidisciplinary artist Stuart Sandford, citing “fraud and deception” without meaningful explanation or recourse.
